After Work

Tonight I met up with a friend who works by setting up sets for events, such as concerts and movie preimeres. So today they were setting up for the Mary Poppins broadway show. I left work and walked around the corner and there he was. My buddy of 18 years (yes, that's his arm there on the right).

So he waved me over and I was standing by the photographers. While talking to him, I couldn't help but notice the people walking the blue carpet. The red was not out for this event.
After some time, I got to see a few people from shows I watch from time to time. I got to see Richard Kind from Spin City. I also saw this one actor, in which I can't remember his name. Well, I saw him and I was excited. Later, I saw one of my favorite men from All My Children, Jacob Young. He plays Adam Chandler, Jr. I didn't find him very tall. Most of these guys on soaps aren't so tall. Wait, actually I shouldn't say that. If you're an All My Children fan, you'll remember Jesse. Tad's best friend from years ago who dated Tad's sister and died. Well he's tall. While in acting class, he walked by me in the hallway and he was tall. In the streets of NY, you can always run into these guys. Another guy who played Tad's brother, Jake....well he's got muscles , baby. And yes, he's tall.

So right after that, I see Rosie O'Donnell. Wow. I didn't get that excited, but I did say, "Oooooooo look!" I didn't giggle like a school girl, though. But I did enjoy being there. I was really there to see my buddy. It was nice spending time with him talking about stuff. Oh well, that was my evening after work. I must now sleep.
