Non New York Living

Living out here so far is nice. It's a lot different from Queens. We live in an community that has all the things you can need. Well not all. I don't have a cabana boy. But we do have two pools, a gym that's free for residents, a basket ball court, a tennis court and I can go attend workout classes each day. All this is included while we live here. It's great.

So today, Tomas and I played tennis. I enjoyed it so much. It's my first time playing the sport. I need to hit the ball better. Although I am hitting it, I have to learn not to hit so hard. My baseball stance comes in and I'm swinging the racket like a bat. Then over the fence it went. I covered my mouth and screamed a bit. My eyes closed for a second, cause I thought it was gonna hit a window. "Phew...." It was a close call. It just hit the bush. I'm wondering if having the tennis court close to the homes is a good idea. Especially with my retard strength. ;)

So after that, we went back to the house and changed into our bathing suits. We headed over to the pool and then walked over to the jacuzzi. It was hot. It was so good. I loved it. It's just the way I like it in the tub. And this was just beautiful. As I sat there feeling the pulsating bubbles against my body, I looked up and there were all the palm trees. On my right were the mountains. It's like a vacation that keeps on going. I can't believe I'm living here.

After that, we got out and went into the pool. The water was cold, but I manage to get my body all the way in there. I started to swim over to the 8 feet side of the pool. And my arms felt good. I'm not a good swimmer, but I swam over nice and easy. After the pool, we returned to the jacuzzi once again to warm up. Then we headed home. It was such a wonderful feeling, sitting in there and just enjoying the blue skies, the trees and so on. I loved it. I think I'm gonna be okay out here. I mean, I could come home from work each day and take a swim. I love it.

Hi LJ! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I didn't know you moved. you challenged me to figure out where. In my response comment I guessed Florida. But now I'm reading about mountains ... hmm ... and I never thought of you as a Florida girl. I think you're more of a California girl.

You don't have to say if I'm right, by the way. It's just fun guessing!
