A Racist Comment?

I was watching the news this morning, on Fox 5 and Mark was on a mission to find people in the streets of NY carrying a pack of sweet n low. So as people were walking by, he would stop them and ask them. It's hard to find a person carrying a specific thing just like that. I mean, if you stop a bunch of people and asked them if they happen to be carrying a pink dildo, well, you might not find it in pink. You know? So he's asking people for sweet n low and no one had one. Here comes this big africian american dude and Mark stops him to ask if he had any. The guy smiles, laughs and says no. Mark asked him, "...are you sure?" And the guy continued to smile and say no.

Back in the news room where Jodi Applegate was, she made a comment that I found to be a bit racist. She said she didn't believe he didn't have any and said he might be carrying a pound of that.

My ears immediately went up and I was a bit shocked at that comment. I thought it didn't sound right. Would you agree?
