You're home and looking to relax. You turn on the tv and skip through all the channels til you get to this one channel that's got some woman on the floor crying and then as she cries, you hear the door slam. (End Scene)
The next scene takes you to sunset strip and you see all these cars driving by and then you see a bunch of people walking out of a bar laughing and a bit drunk. Inside at the bar sits a handsome man in a dark suit. A woman slowly approaches him. She's tall with dark hair and a tight black dress with heels. They speak. (End Scene)
The next scene takes place in a room where they're having sex. After sex, they're lying in bed talking. Now you get the sense that they know each other. Then she confirms this by asking him, "So when will your divorce be final?" He looks over at her and says, "In a few weeks, baby. Be patient."
Now you're like, "Wow, this looks good." And you decide to watch it. Though you checked to see what time it started. You see that you've missed the first 30 minutes. You don't care. You'll watch it from there.
It's dark and a black sports car pulls up into a driveway. Head lights turn off and the car door opens. Out steps a man's foot. A woman walks to her window and notices her husband is home. She's the woman who was crying earlier. The door opens and in steps in the man from the bar. He looks at her and as she's about to turn away, he gently grabs her hand and tells her he's sorry. They make up and he kisses her.
Two weeks later:
"Mom! Where did dad put my roller blades?" The mother answers her daughter and the father comes in. He's all smiles and they all seem to be one happy family. Suddenly his cell phone rings. His wife picks the phone and notices that it's John Miller. He takes a look at it and puts the call into voice mail. He said it was family time and not business. It could wait.
The woman from the bar slams down her phone. She got his voicemail again. She couldn't get through and this was pissing her off. Kelly, the woman from the bar was John Miller on his cell phone. And while Kelly was pissed off and pacing in her home, he was with his family, laughing and enjoying their saturday.
You're sitting there saying to yourself...."what a bastard." Then you start telling yourself, "god, if that were me....." But the truth is, it is you. You're seeing someone and the same thing Kelly is going through, you are too. The guy you're seeing isn't around much and all the things you've been experiencing is happening right in front of you in this movie. So you start to wonder, is the Life Time Channel sending out Subliminal messages to women? Are they really telling us about the kinds of men that are out there?? You continue to watch the movie with more interests than before.
He walks over to his car in a large parking lot on a sunny afternoon. Kelly catches up to him, while upset, and surprises him. "I've been calling you, Patrick." Patrick pulls her in and kisses her. He apologizes and tells her good news. He was promoted to Vice President. He was busy for days at work, working late nights and wanted to surprise her. So he tells her to pack her bags. They were flying to Rio.
Mary, his wife, was getting suspicious. She was looking through this things after having found a hair pin in his car. He said that it was Jennifer, his co-worker, that needed a lift to the airport. Jennifer was an older woman. Not attractive at all. And she didn't have much hair. So she wondered about her using hair pins. Mary waited til Patrick went to bed one night. While he was deep in sleep and snoring away, Mary went into his jacket and pulled out his blackberry. She looked through til she came across a name that to her sounded familiar.
"So where are the tickets, Pat?" Asked Kelly. She was in her bikini showing it off to him. She had a great body and he was turned on by her. "No need to worry. They're etickets. We'll pick them up at the airport. So...." He moves close to her to move aside her bikini top. Her nipples harded. "Why don't you take this top off and let me give you a massage." (end scene)
You go over to the frig and get yourself some juice. Then you look over at your clock. You think about the guy you're dating and wonder if you should call him. You haven't been suspicious yet, until this movie. Now you're seeing that he hasn't answered your weekend calls or night time "good night" chats. Come to think of it, you never spoke to him at night. "Non-sense." You say to yourself. It's only tv. You know there are men out there like that, but what are the chances of you meeting one yourself? The movie is back on.
Mary waits for him to get home. She's pissed. Her kids are with her sister and soon enough, Patrick pulls into the drive way. She walks into their den and sits. She hears him come in and call out to her. "Honey, I'm home." He enters the den and sees her sitting there quietly. She looks up at him, while his face looking puzzled, she asked, "Who is she?" "Who is who? What are you asking me, Mary?" As you watch him deny to his wife who Kelly is to him, you start getting upset. You're yelling at the tv. Yelling at Mary to get a clue. Yelling at Patrick and calling him a bastard as he slaps his wife and yells at her to stop messing around. She's on the bed crying. This movie is getting serious.
It's 2 days before Kelly and Patrick travel to Rio. Kelly just finishes packing when the phone rings. "What? Wait a minute. What happened? Why?" Patrick had to cancel because his sister had become ill. Later Kelly finds out that his sister was flying in from Paris, healthy as a baby girl. It was a lie.
It's getting pretty late and this movie is pretty long. Your phone rings and it's your girlfriend. You tell her you're watching this movie and she claims to have seen it last week. On top of that she ruins it for you by telling you the ending. Basically, the guy was married and his wife Mary had contacted Kelly in which they had a talk about Patrick. Patrick fought hard to deny it but was in too deep to get out of it and tell the truth now. He manipulated both women and they then started to argue with one another. But in the end, the wife and Kelly cornered him in an elevator and shot him dead. (end scene)
Weeks later, several woman came out and told their stories about what had happened between them and Patrick. He had several affairs going on and the wife had known about them. She didn't want to leave him, yet he abused her over and over again, by hooking up with different women. It's no wonder she shot him dead. Great movie!!
