No Vacation Til August

So no vacation til August. Tomas and I will go to Maine with his family for a week. Can't wait to go. In the mean time, I'll have 3 four day weekends starting at the end of May til September. with maybe an extra day or two added to that. So until then, I'll have to relax and not get crazy at work. But being that I might be changing my job a bit and working for a new group, my job might not get me so down. I'm setting up my place so that I can be more organized. For a while I was moving around hoteling a space just to work on projects. It was nice for a while, but after a few months of not communicating much with people at work, it got a bit boring. I was tucked away in a cube where no one could find me. It was heaven. But then I started to miss my buddies and cracking jokes. Especially when some guy would walk by my desk and me and my partner sitting by me would push the button on the fart machine and we'd keep a straight face. God that was funny. But the best part was when some partner brought his kid in and the kid was running around the office with a life size blow up doll. Awesome. My buddy turned around to answer the kid who kindly ask if she had any pies. She turned around and in her face was a blow up doll. It just couldn't get any better than that. Oh actually it did, when she decided to put the blow up doll in her bosses office. He'd come in early on Monday and see someone sitting in his chair. "Hello? Excuse me?" And he turns the chair around. Priceless. Well we both don't sit by each other anymore. But we are close by each other. We just don't see each other's faces. I just knock on her cube window or throw papers over her wall as I walk by. That will have to do for now until I go on vacation. I always need a little entertainment.
