Strike Nothing But A Tease

So there's no strike today. Great. No really...GREAT! ;(

So I get up and I'm like...."They're not gonna strike. They're bluffing. If they were gonna do it, they would have done it today. They're nothing but a bunch of sissies."

That's right. I said it. SISSIES.

I get dressed and go to work and all I hear are people saying, "Well they might strike tonight and what if I can't get home to my kids? I should just go back home now." There are alot of stupid people out there. Why? Because the media hypes things up and people everywhere start getting retarded and buying supplies like crazy or start calling up people and tell them they might not make it to the meeting tomorrow cause they will probably strike. Blah blah blah. Here's the deal. There won't be a strike next week and you will ALL be coming into work.

So the thing to do is just act like nothing is going on. Cause the truth is they won't take a chance on getting fined, jailed or loose their jobs. They have families, they have lives. I mean, it's only fair to pay them more. To give them the benefits that they need. Who told me a long time ago that I should work for the city???? Well, look at that. You think working for the city gets these guys any good benefits? Umm, no. City my ass!! These guys got 6% last time over 3 years...if I remember correctly and now they're saying they'll get 9% over the next 3 years?? Only 3 percent each year, huh? I think it's bullshit. Give these guys more. I WANT MORE!! They get millions of people to and from stations every day and every minute of the day. They deserve more. They work on holidays, for christ sake!!

Okay, I think I better stop. I'm pretty pissed today. I'm not looking to be friendly today. I actually snapped at someone today in the lobby of my work building for getting in my way. To me, I feel that when people are on the train, they tend to do stupid things, like stand in the door way and not let people off or on. It's the same way when you get to the elevator. The guy was walking and cutting me and I had to stop and change my direction, which pissed me off. I said excuse me in a way that sounded like I was annoyed with him and ready to beat him. I tried to chill as I was by a partner who I now work with. He might think I'm mean or nuts cause he sees me smiling and being nice, then sees me snapping at the guy. I just better chill out. I have been thinking lately that I might have an anger problem.
