I was walking along during my lunch hour. I decided to check out a few things around the way. So I stopped into this shoe store and checked out the goodies. I found a pair that I have been eyeing for a bit and so I decided to try them on and buy them if they turned out to fit good.
I try them on and I like them and while doing this, the salesman is by my side helping me. Now, he's not putting them on for me, he's just sitting next to me. I think, he should leave me be and go help other girls. Why sit there and just cater to me. A smart sales person would know how to handle more than one order.
So I decide I want them and just realized that I left my credit card at home. So I ask if I can just come back tomorrow and if he had more of my size, just in case. And he suddenly turns into "Attitude Salesman" and avoids eye contact with me and gives me one word answers. Then he tells me that they only have one of each size. I started to laugh quietly and said, "Oh, okay." And left. I know that's not true. Sale guys think women are stupid. He's just upset that I didn't buy the shoe. But it's funny how they change their attitude. Like you just wasted their time. Well hey....in that business, a customer is NEVER a waste of time. Cause she could just as easily come back the next day and buy the whole store.

yeah. she could just as easliy come back the next day but generally with sales, esp retail, if you can't close the customer on that visit the sale's gone. some punk-ass shoe salesman isn't thinking about his sales pipeline.
Great thing is. I found the same pair of shoes at another store with a 10% discount. Ha ha..it's funny, cause the guy tells me I'll give it to you for 55 when the other store is selling the same pair for the same price. And I get 10% off there!
Am I lucky or what??? Reminds me, I should go now and get the shoes...
why even bother going if you're not gonna get anything. mmmph. women!
I was, but left the CC at home.
Dam....But I like doing that anyway. Try on stuff and wait and decide whether I need it and want it. I like it. :)
Sales people have to learn how to deal with that.
