Nicknames

While chatting with a friend, we started to talk about nick names. It started off by me telling him that my sisters call me "Dude." Ever since I was a teenager, I was always saying dude. And so there are times when I'm walking and I hear someone calling dude - I turn around and it's my sister. It's a natural thing for me to respond to dude, but only if the voice is familiar.

So we started to tell each other the names we used on our families or boy/girlfriends. So he says, he use to call his ex "Pal." And then I said that I use to call my ex "dude", "chump." Then along the way came "bootie," "muffin," "dumbass", "dillweed". It's cute. But then sometimes you forget their names. Then he said he use to call his brother "Fag." And I started laughing so hard, I almost fell off my chair. That was so funny and so unexpected. Then he followed that up by saying his christian relatives got mad.
