My Dog

My dog is getting old. He'll be turning 15 in 3 months. Called the doctor today to see how he was doing. He went to get a check up. They're checking the blood work on his kidneys and found the level high. Doctor asked if he ate anything before the test and it turns out he did. So he'll have to take the test again, but this time he can't eat anything for 24 hours. I love my dog so much and to think that soon he would have to be put to sleep kills me. But the doctor said that he's not at that point yet. So how much longer will he be around? I'm not sure. So lately I have been spending time with him. I've been taking him out for walks for some exercise. Letting him sleep nice and comfy in my bed...but only after he takes a bath. I don't know what my life will be without him. He's always been my little baby.
