The Contender (click here for link)

I've been watching the Contender since the beginning. And it's a really great show. Everyone sunday I'm yelling, screaming..."HIT 'EM! GET 'EM! UPPER CUT! UPPER CUT!" I don't usually watch boxing, but if it's someone I'm interested in, then I might watch a boxing match with friends or my dad.

So now we are left with 3 guys. And last night's match was a good fight. Peter won the fight over Gomez, who lost to him in their first fight together. Then since Peter lost, he was off the show. But then one of the guys in the house got sick and he had no choice but to leave the show. So they all had to vote to bring back a guy. Peter was then the one to come back and this was his second chance to win a million dollars. Since having lost to Gomez, there was always talk about a rematch between the two and so they fought last night for the second time.

Gomez is a really good fighter. He has alot of heart. He's not a boxer that runs around the ring. He keeps coming at you and his punches land and hurt. I was suprised to see him lose, but then I wanted Peter to win. Peter is a good boxer having a record of 21 wins and 0 loses when he came on to the show. Or maybe 1 loss, I'm not sure. But he has a good record.

Last night, Peter said, "this fight is not about the million dollars. It's about winning to the guy I lost." So he fought to win. But this was a close fight since they tied all the way in each round til the end. But I knew Peter won because Gomez needed to win round 6 and 7 to win the fight, but Peter won round 6 and in round 7, they both fought hard. So in the end, Peter was the winner. And I was happy.

Who will win? I predict that Jesse will win. The last three guys are pretty good, but Jesse seems to be the strongest. And the cutest. I had a dream of him last night. Wow.
